When we decide to choose microwave drying machine, we need put together all information to assess a viable operation and energy efficient. Firstly, you need know how much moisture the material containers prior to microwave drying, and what’s the final target moisture content so we could know the evaporation water amount. For example, 500 kg/h capacity with 30% initial water saturation, and require to reduce moisture down to 8% so 500*0.3-500*0.08=110 kilogram of water which we should evaporate per hour. Secondly, we should know the material features and react to microwave. If you have a material with a high dielectric loss tangent though, this will be larger.
